Privacy policy

This policy explains how S&A Elite Projects, including our PWJ Paint & Waterproofing Junction shop ("we", "us"), collects and uses personal information through this website, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are

S&A Elite Projects is a project management company specialising in painting, waterproofing, damp-proofing and epoxy floors, serving Pretoria, Johannesburg and Hartbeespoort. What information we collect

• Quote requests: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the details of your job and any photos you upload.
• PWJ shop enquiries: your contact details and the products you ask about.
• Calls, WhatsApp and email: whatever you choose to send us when you contact us.
• Website analytics (only if you accept): which pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and your approximate location, collected through Google Analytics.

Why we use it

• To reply to your quote request or enquiry and arrange a site visit.
• To prepare quotes, supply products and carry out work you ask for.
• To understand which pages and guides are useful, so we can improve this website (analytics, only with your consent).

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the website and respond to you, such as our web hosting and email providers, and Google (Google Analytics if you accept analytics, and reCAPTCHA when you use one of our forms). They may only use it to provide those services. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry or job, and for any legal, tax or accounting requirements. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections to this website. No online system is completely risk-free, so please do not send us sensitive details such as ID numbers or banking details through the quote form.

Cookies and analytics

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics. Google Analytics only loads if you click Accept. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page.

Spam protection

Our quote and enquiry forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam. It only loads when you start using a form. reCAPTCHA checks how your browser and device behave and may set cookies or collect information such as your IP address, which is sent to Google. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@saeliteprojects.co.za and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
